During his career Christopher M. Mellino has been involved in several landmark cases. Two of those are reported cases.

Moskovitz v. Mt. Sinai Hospital (1994), 69 Ohio St.3d 638 (establishing a claim for punitive damages when there is an intentional altercation of medical records.)

Watkins v. Cleveland Clinic Foundation (1998), 130 Ohio App.3d 262 (involving claims for fraud, battery and punitive damages in a medical malpractice case.)
